Back in 1958 Antonio Piumelli opened a small workshop where he personally made leather gloves, taking care of every stage of production: from the choice of materials and design to the selection of colors of wide range.

During the 1960s the brand gained international recognition, resulting in retail and wholesale distribution, which pushed the company to a more specialized and faster production.

During this time Piumelli also expanded the range of its products by branching them out to bags and small leather goods.
